Empowered for College Program Overview Topics

E4C is a program for college bound students to equip them with the necessary tools to successfully navigate the unique social and emotional challenges facing college students today.

After years of observing an increased struggle in the transition to college, we decided to create a program for students that is informative, preventative, and proactive. The program goal is to build awareness, encourage personal responsibility and maximize safety while educating students in multiple interpersonal arenas for success in college and beyond. By having these conversations ahead of time, we hope to empower students with the resources and tools to successfully navigate this next stage of life.  This course will be held in four sessions led by licensed professionals. It includes six hours of interactive instruction and incorporates several assessment tools that will provide direct feedback to participants regarding their social and emotional preparedness for the transition to college.

The curriculum was developed by professionals in the fields of mental health and education to make the transition to college more successful.
